Position Description Summary

The Department of Psychology at Northern Illinois University anticipates making a tenure-track appointment in school psychology for fall 2018 at the rank of Assistant Professor. The NIU school psychology program is APA accredited at the doctoral level and NASP approved at the Specialist level.

Required Qualificaitons

Qualifications include the following: 1) a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited program at the time of employment; 2) evidence of and strong potential for independent, programmatic, and productive scholarship; 3) evidence of and strong potential for quality teaching to diverse groups of students; and 4) eligibility for Illinois educational licensure required and eligibility for Illinois professional licensure preferred.
